Initial Setup and Ramp Construction<\/h4>\n

Using 2x HA-400 strand jacks and a single pump unit, Hebetec successfully pulled the bridge 50 meters uphill towards the Baltic Sea on a gentle incline of approximately 2\u00b0. Concurrently, an additional set of 2x HA-400 strand jacks and another pump unit were positioned at the top of the bridge. Their strands were secured to the top of a 42-meter high mast, ensuring the bridge remained level throughout the relocation process.<\/p>\n

Precision Lifting and Final Positioning<\/h4>\n

After the bridge reached its target position, it was gradually lowered an additional 3.5 meters using the HA-400 strand jacks, now reattached to a specially designed steel structure. This precise adjustment allowed the bridge to be securely connected to the pylon foundation permanently.<\/p>\n

Enhancing Visitor Experience and Protecting Nature<\/h4>\n

The new setup provides a safer viewing area directly above the chalk cliffs, maintaining the same elevation of about 118 meters above sea level. Originally, visitors accessed these cliffs via steps, which had gradually eroded due to the fragile nature of chalk.<\/p>\n

The newly installed bridge enhances visitor access to the scenic chalk cliffs without the need to tread on them, thus preserving their integrity and ensuring that nature remains unspoiled and accessible to everyone without barriers.<\/p>\n
