New coastal highway route, Reunion Island, France 

 

On La Réunion Island a new coastal road proceedes between Saint Denis and La Possesson for a distance of 12km. Part of this route required the construction of a 5’400m long concrete viaduct built on the ocean floor 10m below see level. 49 bridge decks of 80 to 120m length are supported by 48 towers. For the launching of the pre-fabricated tower elements from shore to the barges Hebetec designed and installed an automatized system (Video). more

 

Underpass Sliding Konolfingen, Switzerland

 

The new railway underpass is a crucial part of the renovation of the Konolfingen railway station.
Hebetec Engineering was assigned to slide the two parts of the underpass, weighing 200t and 400t, into final position.
After equipment installation the sliding works were executed using about 30min. for each part. Sliding beams HEM 500 with sliding shoes and double acting jacks were applied for this task. more

 

Railroad Bridge Herrenberg, Germany

 

Site fabricated concrete launching tracks with laid-in sheet steel and structure integrated launching sheet steel as an alternative to common launching track / and jack application? Sure!

Hebetec Engineering Ltd. applied two strand jacks for the 20m launching of a 900t railroad bridge into final position.Friction resistance was reduced by lubricant applied between the sheet steel plates sliding on top of each other. more

 

Bridge Sliding Micheville II, Luxembourg

 

For the construction of the motor way between Luxembourg and France a 20‘000 tons bridge section was launched underneath a rail way line within end of October 2010.

In total 19 strand jacks were used to move the bridge section into position.

The works were carried out using the Autofonçage© technology developed by Freyssinet. more

 

Sliding a bridge with APS in Mionnay, France

 

In Mionnay, France, a new railway underpass was built besides an existing railway crossing.

The demolishing of the existing railway line, excavation of the embankment, sliding in of the new underpass in end position and rebuilding of the tracks took place within a weekend campaign.

For the sliding in action Hebetec used the APS-System. more

 

APS Bridge Sliding Regensdorf, Switzerland

 

In Regensdorf, Switzerland, a new railway underpass for SBB-railways was built besides the existing railway crossing.

The demolishing of the existing railway line, excavation of underground, sliding in of the new underpass into end position and rebuilding of the track took place within a weekend campaign. mehr
